Fun-Filled Highlights Tour

For those seeking a weekend escape to the countryside to enjoy pure, unadulterated fun away from the hustle and bustle, consider a two-day overnight stay, day camp, or evening camp. Currently, there are four government-run campsites across Hong Kong offering overnight stays at very attractive rates. For a family of four (two adults and two children) attending a day camp during the holidays, the total admission fee is just over a hundred dollars. Additionally, several non-governmental organisation campsites are also available.

This edition of Family-Friendly Destinations highlights four holiday camps under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD): Lei Yue Mun Park and Holiday Village, Tso Kung Tam Outdoor Recreation Centre, Lady MacLehose Holiday Village, and Sai Kung Outdoor Recreation Centre. These camps boast extensive facilities. Even if overnight stays aren't available, the grounds feature sports facilities and craft activities, ensuring both adults and children can enjoy a full day of fun.
